Activated refers to the active forms of vitamins B6 and B12 and folic acid. Using forms other than these activated forms requires that the vitamins be enzymatically activated prior to utilization by the body. Not only does this take time and energy within the body, but there are circumstances when this reaction is either slowed or inhibited.

What is the source of the vitamin B12 in Isotonix Activated B Complex?
Vitamin B12 comes from bacteria. B12 in our diet can come from eggs or meats, or by taking a supplement. Vegetarians are recommended to take a B vitamin dietary supplement due to their lack of meat intake.

This B complex really works!
OK, I have found thru DNA testing that I am a poor mentholator. What that means for me is I cannot process most Vitamin B products, and I can have challenges getting it thru my diet, but this B Complex is the metholated or "active" form of B vitamins and is readily absorbed by everyone including the 1 of 4 people who , whether they know it or not are poor metholators like me. Also, with the "Isotonic" delivery system I really feel the difference over any other B complex I have tried in the past! Love this product!
