Motives Custom Blend Foundation Modifiers allow you to adjust texture, coverage and finish to achieve the perfect matte or luminous foundation. Address skin concerns with the serum additives to help promote a healthier, younger-looking complexion.
The following modifiers are available with the Custom Blend Foundation System:
- Thinner – used to sheer the base for a lighter coverage foundation
- Mattifier – provides a powder finish that is ideal for photography and film makeup, or individuals with oily skin
- Fringe Benefit – locks in moisture to smooth the appearance of skin texture
- Sunscreen – lightweight, non-greasy formula that boosts SPF coverage to protect skin
- Sheer Porefection Primer – a lightweight, matte primer that smoothes skin and minimizes the appearance of pores for effortless application of foundation and concealer
- Whipping Crème – creates airy, sponge-like textures that is perfect for crème foundations, blushes and bronzers, highlighters and eye shadows
- Beauty Balm – five-in-one cream that primes, hydrates, lightens, firms and visibly improves the look of skin
The following serum additives are available with the Custom Blend Foundation System:
- Hydrator – restores moisture to dry skin
- Oil Control – contains purifying and calming qualities to help control oil and soothe irritated skin
- Ultra Firming Botanical Complex – gives a tighter, firmer appearance to skin throughout wear for a more radiant complexion
- Ultra Soothing Botanical Complex – contains botanicals that soothe skin and help to reduce the appearance of redness, making it ideal for those with sensitive skin
- Copper Peptide Multi-Mineral Complex – contains minerals that support normal collagen and elastin to diminish the appearance of fine lines, improve the appearance of skin and promote hydration

This is completely up to the individual! Motives Custom Blend Foundation can be blended to the desired coverage, from a translucent, natural finish to full coverage foundation. Some clients may want to continue using a powder over top to set their liquid foundation, so we recommend you discuss this during the consultation section of your appointment in order to determine how to create their perfect Motives Custom Blend Foundation.

Peptides are great for the skin.
I love having the copper peptides as an option for my cus blend services. I add it to most of my Custom Blend liquid foundations. Peptides can help to reduce the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles in the skin.
